Finding and securing top talent is critical to your organisation. It requires a deep understanding of the company culture and an expertise in assessing the skills, leadership style, and cultural fit of candidates.
Shane is a degree qualified business executive that has amassed extensive operational and commercial experience in the areas of Sales and Distribution, Talent Management and Executive Search across the UK, Europe, South Africa and wider Africa.
He spent 5 years living and working in London, where he began his career in the recruitment space, building a strong network across the Commerce & Industry landscape in the UK and Europe. Shane gained exposure to a wide variety of leadership roles during his tenure overseas for both blue-chip as well as boutique/start up organisations within the industry before deciding to return to his homeland, South Africa.
With a desire to get involved in the area of Talent Management, Shane joined SABMiller as Head of Talent Acquisition assuming responsibility for the attraction, acquisition and the integration of executive talent into the organisation. He also managed the full award winning Graduate & Bursar program in this role.
Shane then moved into a market facing role as Area Manager for Sales & Distribution – an executive leadership position looking after Operations, Logistics as well as the full Sales lifecycle in a regional capacity.
